FLOCKHILL Lodge a winner at Architecture Awards

The Inovo team was there to celebrate as FLOCKHILL Lodge, designed by Warren and Mahoney Architects, was named a winner in the Hospitality Category at the National Architecture Awards.

Inovo were Project Managers for the lodge development, as well as providing planning, surveying, and resource consent services.

The judges said:

“Looking northward to Lake Pearson and the surrounding mountainous landscape, this high-end hospitality offering takes its cues from local farm buildings. Robust and durable coloured in-situ concrete, cast in striated layers, anchor the collection of buildings to the site.” The judges also commented on the extensive use of locally sourced timbers, and the passive design principles incorporated into the ‘elegant shed’.

The Inovo team celebrates this win, together with owners FLOCKHILL Lodge, Warren and Mahoney Architects, Hoogervast Builders, Rough and Milne Landscape Architects, Ruamoko Solutions and TH Consultants.
