Where Inovo began
We acknowledge our founders – Rob Morris, soon joined by Peter McAuley and Dave Lang .
All three were well-regarded professionals in their own right. Rob Morris in property development and the construction industry in New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the Middle East. Rob ran his company Promanagement for 10 years before Inovo evolved.
Peter McAuley was a Director of a successful planning, land and property development company.
Dave Lang was a well-respected project planner with a number of large and complex projects under his belt.
With a shared vision for what the company could be, Inovo started as Davis Ogilvie Projects in early 2010, before changing to Inovo.

15 GOOD DEEDS FOR 15 YEARS OF INOVO

Our Auckland-based team generously donated on Daffodil Day - the annual fundraiser for the Cancer Society.

We gave five Chromebook laptops to Pūtahi Belfast School.

Both the Auckland and Christchurch teams donated tinned foods, breakfast cereals, muesli bars, rice, pasta and other non-perishable items for the City Mission Food Banks.

In November, the Auckland team spent an afternoon and evening at Ronald McDonald House, creating a whānau dinner that is an important part of the RMH support service.

For every dollar that a team member donated to KidsCan, Inovo matched it. These donations help tamariki experiencing hardship by providing food, jackets, shoes and health products to schools across New Zealand.

We’re supporting Habitat for Humanity with strategic advisory services - free of charge. One of our most experienced team members is providing potential site assessments, helping with purchase negotiations and design for their Progressive Home Ownership rent-to-buy programmme.

In October our Christchurch Project Planning team prepped meals at Ronald McDonald House. The resulting stash of heat-and-eat meals are freezer-stored, ready to feed families who need to stay at RMH for specialist medical treatment at Christchurch Hospital.

We joined the Avon-Heathcote Estuary Trust and formed a working group to weed and mulch around the native plantings at Southshore Spit. The plantings are protecting and enhanching this important ecological system and wildlife habitat at Te Ihutai/Avon-Heathcote Estuary.

We put in the mahi setting up games and activities for the Special Children’s Christmas Party in Christchurch. Each year Wolfbrook Arena is transformed into a Christmas wonderland for a children with illness, disability or in underprivileged circumstances.

In November, the Resource Consent Planning Team contributed their time, packing hundreds of gift bags for One Mother to Another. This organisation supports parents and whānau either having a baby or with a child in hospital.

Our Auckland team will be setting up for the Special Children’s Christmas Party in December. We’ll be unpacking containers and setting up activities, games and gifts ready for the party for hundreds of children the following day.

In December we’ll be collecting items needed by Dogwatch Sanctuary Trust - a Christchurch-based organisation that rescues, cares for and rehomes dogs that have been abandoned at pounds or surrendered for rehoming.

We’re still finalising our last activities to get us to 15 Good Deeds by the end of our 15th Year.
