Auckland
With an exciting growth plan in place, we are seeking a talented survey professional to assist in building and leading a team of surveying professionals to deliver projects across the Auckland region.

This role will see you utilising and expanding your client relationship networks to establish Inovo’s surveying capabilities in the Auckland region.

You will have:

  • A minimum of 10 years’ end-to-end land development and surveying experience in the Auckland region
  • Proven track record of developing new business opportunities and cultivating relationships with potential clients
  • A strong understanding of the Auckland market and the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • An established network of connections in local government and the private sector
  • Solid commercial, project management and business development experience
  • University degree in Surveying (BSurv or similar)
  • Proven management and leadership skills and a collegial, team-player attitude
  • An understanding of the legislative frameworks we operate in, including the Resource Management Act and associated regulations.

What you’ll bring

  • 5 or more years’ experience in the commercial construction industry, with proven success delivering medium-to-large scale projects in the consultancy space.
  • Broad project management skills with demonstrable proof of delivery through all project stages, from feasibility/initiation through to completion/project close out.
  • Proven ability to manage procurement processes, prepare tender documentation, evaluate submissions and make clear recommendations.
  • Hands‑on experience across a range of procurement models, including traditional, design & build, and early contractor involvement (ECI), with the ability to tailor approaches to suit individual client needs.
  • Oversee contract administration, including writing and issuing contract instructions, assessing variations, processing progress claims, and monitoring contract performance.
  • Proven experience operating as the client‑side Project Manager with full accountability for project budgets, including cost planning, forecasting, change control, and financial reporting through to project close‑out.
  • Coordinate and monitor consultants, sub-consultants and contractors to ensure quality, programme, and contractual requirements are met.
  • Build and maintain long lasting client relationships, supporting repeat business and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Project Management Institute - PMP Certification is desired but not essential.
  • Extensive contract Knowledge with experience operating as Engineers Representative or Contract Administration using the NZS 3910 (2013/2025) suite of contracts or equivalent.
  • NZ permanent residency or citizenship is essential for this role

AUCKLAND
We’re looking for a motivated Project Planner to join our team in Auckland. This role would be perfect for someone who has experience in construction planning and scheduling, or experience in the construction industry as a project manager or similar looking to make a career change into project planning.

  • You’ll support provide support with scheduling, including resource management, cost control, risk control and project delivery.
  • Establish and maintain project programmes, monitor progress, and produce high-quality performance reports.
  • Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Advise on project governance, delivery models, and procurement strategies.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring open communication and shared success.
  • You’ll work on a variety of large-scale infrastructure projects which impact NZ.
  • You’ll work in a high-performing collaborative team where we encourage learning, professional development and a culture to have fun while delivering the best for our clients.
